Fifth Color’s Print Specialist Co‑Op Program gives students the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in digital print production and on‑site signage installation while contributing to meaningful work that supports Fith Color’s growth. As a leading activation and event solutions provider trusted at world‑class events like the PGA, USGA, Ryder Cup and College Football Playoff, Fifth Color is committed to developing early career talent and building a strong pipeline for future full‑time roles.
As a Print Specialist Co‑Op, you will travel to major events nationwide to support on‑site print production, artwork preparation and signage installation for Fifth Color's clients. Whether you already have hands‑on experience or foundational knowledge of print and design, Fifth Color is committed to providing the training to take your skills to the next level. Working alongside the production and project management teams in a live event environment, you will gain exposure to how design, print production and field installation come together to deliver work that gets remembered.
Through meaningful project work, mentorship and hands‑on collaboration, you will develop practical skills while helping shape Fifth Color’s on‑site print and event execution.
- Create, edit, and prepare vector artwork using Adobe Illustrator or Flexi.
- Convert customer‑supplied files into clean, production‑ready formats.
- Set‑up layouts for large‑format signs, banners, decals and event graphics.
- Operate Mutoh printers and related production equipment.
- Monitor color accuracy, alignment and output quality to meet brand and event standards.
- Assist with finishing processes including trimming, mounting, masking, packaging and prepping materials for transport.
- Troubleshoot minor print and equipment issues and elevate when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safety‑focused production workspace.
- Collaborate closely with the production and project management teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Travel nationwide to support signage installation at major events and activations.
- Assist with installation of banners, large‑format graphics, sponsor signage, fencing graphics, flags and related event materials.
- Work safely on ladders, lifts and elevated surfaces when required.
- Follow site plans, production lists and installation instructions with precision.
- Support troubleshooting and on‑site adjustments to ensure clean, professional results.
- Assist with post‑event removal, dismantling, storage and equipment maintenance.
