Role:
Manufacturing Operator 2 at Millipore Sigma focused on the safe and efficient manufacturing of products used to produce advanced semiconductors and life science products.
Shift: 12-hour night shift, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 2/2/3 schedule (M/T on, W/R off, F/S/S on, M/T off, W/R on, F/S/S off, repeat)

Responsibilities- Produce, purify and package chemical compounds to meet Millipore Sigma customer requirements
- Stage materials using warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and powered industrial trucks
- Verify the quality and integrity of materials and equipment
- Perform in-process analytical testing including workups and simple interpretations as described in the Master Production Record
- Update batch records, computer systems and SAP per ISO procedures
- Demonstrate proper lab, manufacturing and packaging safety practices in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT and other regulatory guidelines
- Maintain a high level of safety with a proactive "see something – say something" approach
- Participate in core operational excellence programs including Daily Management System, 6S, safety walks
- Participate in team-based objectives focused on improving safety, quality and production output
- Engage in personal and professional career development through development objectives
- Wear appropriate PPE including respirator mask, safety shoes, protective suits, gloves, safety glasses and goggles as required
- Work in environments that may be wet, humid, hot or cold
- Sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, twist or crouch for extended periods
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work with hazardous chemicals and use vision and depth perception
- Operate and work near office, laboratory and manufacturing equipment
- Work near moving mechanical parts
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with chemical handling
- Experience with chemical reactions and hazards
- Experience with ISO and quality systems
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand written protocols
- Detail oriented with excellent multitasking ability
- Strong problem solving and equipment troubleshooting skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Pay range: $21/hour – $37/hour. The offer range represents the anticipated base pay range; actual compensation depends on location, experience, education and skills. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
