Floor Support

Job Requirements:

Floor Support performs general line support and other general duties.

• Scrap collection and coordination for disposal of scrap materials.
• Collect, bag, and dispose of material produced by converting equipment during product start-up and commissioning processes.
• Clean Bay daily.
• Clean converting equipment during checkout process and product shipment.
• Provide supply renewal for consumable items related to product start-up and commissioning, such as alcohol, oil, soap, and tape.
• Provide refreshments for customers during product start-up and commissioning.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to give instructions to contract/temporary help.
• May require a valid State of Wisconsin motor vehicle operator's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Knowledge and ability to use hand tools, handcart, baler/compactor, forklift, and shrink wrapper.

Ability to wear safety glasses, respirator, and hearing protection as needed while working in a manufacturing environment.

Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. Regular use of feet to operate machine controls and reach above shoulders. Occasional sitting, climbing, balance, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds while moving raw materials, scrap, and equipment.
