Assistant Plant Manager - Production Manager

About the role

FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate an Assistant Plant Manager (Production Manager) for a great client. This rapidly growing company is well-known for the design and fabrication of high-quality products.

• Support and drive daily production schedules focused on meeting on-time delivery metrics
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement processes to remove
• Reinforce quality standards and ensure adherence to requirements
• Promote and enforce safe working practices, and adherence to OSHA standards
• Participate in workflow improvements, equipment optimization, and shift expansion planning

• BS in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or another related field
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations
• 5+ years of leadership/managerial experience
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Proven ability to improve process efficiency

• Experience in a metal fabrication/assembly environment
• Net Suite
• Experience working with a unionized environment
