Pneumatic Assembler

Responsibilities- Read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Install magnehelic components and transducers with related plumbing.
- Assemble and install cable, wire, and pneumatic tubing/hose management devices such as cable tray, conduit, and wireway.
- Assemble and install pneumatic and hydraulic control boxes.
- Route and terminate pneumatic, hydraulic, grease, and oiler tubing/hoses on equipment.
- Sub-assemble pneumatic, hydraulic, grease, and oiler components.
- Operate material handling equipment and, when required, use overhead crane and rigging procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Participate in department clean-up and improvement projects.
- Travel as preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong arithmetic skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and perform metric system conversions.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics; familiarity with electrical code manuals and other manufacturing instructions preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others, including in person, to proactively develop solutions.
Protective clothing (safety glasses, gloves, shoes, hearing protection) is required at all times. The role involves walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching above shoulders, as well as speaking and listening regularly.
