Pay range: $21.75 - $23.75 per hour (full range $21.75 - $37.00). Pay is based on labor markets, education, work experience and certifications.

Skills- Leading a security culture and crisis response.
- Implementing daily workload priorities.
- Responding to theft incidents and preventing future theft.
- Strategic resolution of external theft and fraud.
- Partnering with store leaders on operational shortage priorities.
- Leading hourly team members, interviewing, developing and retaining talent.
- Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
- Ensure all team members understand, are trained and consistently deliver on Target’s guest experience commitments and operations.
- Observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable and recognize great moments.
- Review metrics to identify opportunities, improve and align the team.
- Support total store sales and increase profitability by ensuring products are in stock.
- Influence and validate physical security and safety processes; participate in store response and emergency crisis situations.
- Educate teams on emergency preparedness and physical security procedures.
- Develop, coach and lead team members to elevate their skills.
- Anticipate staffing needs and support talent planning.
- Identify theft and shortage trends.
- Assist leaders in reducing shortage risks.
- Work schedule aligned with guest and business needs; adjust as required.
- Own prevention, identification and resolution of external theft incidents.
- Initiate, investigate and resolve internal investigations.
- Educate store leadership on merchandise protection best practice.
- Implement operational changes as directed.
- Order merchandise protection devices and manage budget.
- Communicate AP priorities to the team and stakeholders.
- Build trust and accountability with leaders.
- Maintain relationships with district and law enforcement.
- Ensure teams maintain Target’s reputation.
- Collaborate with retail partners to enhance security for guests and teammates.
- Recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest‑centric team.
- Support onboarding and learning.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct and compliance.
- Maintain all required training.
- Serve as first responder for in‑store safety incidents.
- Lead and demonstrate a culture of best practices.
- Demonstrate inclusivity.
- Lead a safety culture through modeling safe behaviors.
- Execute safety program management routines.
- Participate in legal proceedings as necessary.
- Support merchandise protection strategies store‑wide.
- Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits).
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- You are open to a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times.
- Minimum 18 years old or older.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
- Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred.
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
