ClientAccount Manager
We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer‑focused Client Account Manager to join our team. The Client Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, helping them optimize product use and achieve their goals. This role combines technical expertise, customer support, and account management to build strong relationships and drive customer satisfaction, retention, and wallet share growth.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the client’s point person for assigned accounts by working jointly with the Outside Sales rep on new client hand‑offs and managing service project requests.
- Proactively develop strong relationships with key client decision‑makers.
- Identify client white space and opportunities to support expansion of products and services to meet business goals and sales targets.
- Gather client feedback and provide it to internal departments to enhance service quality and recommend additional products or services.
- Ensure clients’ needs and requests are satisfied in a timely manner.
- Prepare for client discussions by understanding their business, decision makers, and current product gaps before conducting unique touches or formal business reviews.
- Conduct business review sequences based on defined account segments, translating needs into solutions supporting client goals.
- Oversee development of project and product quotes, pricing, and availability with internal teams to provide accurate, timely estimates.
- Promptly respond to calls and emails from clients, addressing questions, problem‑solving, and escalating issues with appropriate resources.
- Inform management of client retention risk through the CODE RED program and develop a client cure plan with the services team.
- Submit internal reports and required paperwork to management promptly.
- Identify “raving fans” and work to obtain referrals through the referral program and identify TCP case studies for marketing.
- Attend weekly meetings and training as defined by the manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, sales, or a related field.
- Desire to succeed with a competitive, can‑do spirit.
- Exemplary standards of client service, honesty, integrity, and endeavor.
- Initiative in identifying, addressing, and resolving daily issues and challenges.
- Clear and prompt communication with peers and management.
- Team‑player mindset, leveraging resources across Services, Sales, Engineering, and Client Support.
- Preferred two years of experience in a client‑relation, account‑management, or client‑success role.
- Preferred experience selling or supporting technology in a business environment.
- Ability to look beyond surface issues, articulating needs to management and support teams.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Quick understanding of financial solutions and ability to communicate appropriate strategies.
- Baseline product catalog knowledge to support clients' technology roadmap.
