Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, and for installation and maintenance of facilities including electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing fixtures as well as all facilities maintenance.
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine centers.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air compressors.
- Maintain and/or modify plant electrical distribution and lighting systems.
- Conduct facilities maintenance projects for plumbing, roof repairs, doors, and security.
- Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment.
- Inspect and maintain overhead cranes and jib cranes.
- Make repairs to electrical hand tools.
- Setup and maintain Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including general carpentry, landscaping, and painting
Job Requirements:
- Prefers education Associates in Electromechanical, Journeyman status or related field.
- Requires 2-3 years of related maintenance experience.
- Requires the ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and drawings.
- Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to make metric system conversions.
- Must be familiar with hand tools and portable power tools.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Requires a basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electricity, and pneumatics.
- Must be certified to operate a Power Industrial Trucks
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
- Must be available for on-call work, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.
