Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, and for installation and maintenance of facilities including electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing fixtures as well as all facilities maintenance.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions Of The Job
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine centers.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air compressors.
  • Maintain and/or modify plant electrical distribution and lighting systems.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance projects for plumbing, roof repairs, doors, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain overhead cranes and jib cranes.
  • Make repairs to electrical hand tools.
  • Setup and maintain preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including general carpentry, landscaping, and painting.
Job Requirements
  • Prefer education:
    Associate in Electromechanical, Journeyman status, or related field.
  • Requires 2-3 years of related maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and drawings.
  • Mathematical skills—addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, metric conversions.
  • Familiar with hand tools and portable power tools.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electricity, and pneumatics.
  • Certified to operate a Power Industrial Truck.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Available for on-call work, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.
