Description
The Material Handler/Forklift Operator position is responsible for operating a forklift to help load and unload trailers, haul finished goods and raw materials, and pull internal shopping lists when necessary. This position works in a clean, consistent and safety conscious environment.
Location and Schedule- Location:
N5252 Co Rd TT, Sheboygan Falls, WI - Schedule:
2-2-3 Rotating 1st Shift; 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Rate: $21 USD per hour (Starting rate). Additional training may boost pay to $25.65 per hour.
- FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt.
- Work in a fast‑paced warehousing environment.
- Stand for long periods, get on and off the forklift consistently and safely, bend, reach, grab and twist.
- Accurately complete required documentation.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes as needed.
- Follow PPE & GMP guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Attend dock meetings for team and company communications.
This position is designated as Product Security Sensitive and Safety‑Sensitive, involving guarding against the introduction of unmanifested cargo such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons and people into outbound shipments.
Requirements- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab and twist.
- Physical examination and pre‑employment drug screen required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Troubleshooting & problem‑solving skills.
- Previous material handling experience.
