We're partnering with a rapidly growing Wisconsin-based organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its accounting operations and help build scalable financial processes for the future.

What You'll Do- Managing full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Leading month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and account reconciliations.
- Maintaining the general ledger in accordance with GAAP principles.
- Managing payroll processing and payroll-related reconciliations.
- Preparing internal financial reports and providing meaningful insights to leadership.
- Partnering with external CPA firms, auditors, and tax professionals.
- Developing and enhancing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and reporting capabilities.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Maintaining organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Helping establish scalable accounting infrastructure to support continued organizational growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Previous experience in an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role preferred.
- Experience managing payroll processing and reconciliations.
- Strong month-end close and financial reporting experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Experience with or other AP automation platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with in telecommunications, construction, service-based organizations, or similar industries is a plus.
