Role Description This full-time, on-site Commercial Construction Estimator role is based in the Sheboygan Metropolitan Area. The Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including reviewing plans, specifications, and project documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing quantity take-offs, obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes, and preparing competitive bids and proposals. The role also involves developing project budgets, tracking and updating estimate assumptions, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope and pricing.

The Estimator will support value engineering efforts, maintain estimating databases, and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs across commercial building types.
• Demonstrated experience in Cost Management and Budgeting for preconstruction and project delivery.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear written documentation and collaborative interaction with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software, spreadsheets, and digital take-off tools.
• Solid understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Relevant experience as a construction estimator, project engineer, or related preconstruction role; commercial experience strongly preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
