Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes site inspections on all project assignments as well as gathers and inputs data compiled during field inspections in order to prepare accurate, timely estimates.
• Negotiates directly with insurance representatives and third- party administrators.
• Works directly with property owner to address and resolve time sensitive property damage claims.
• Shows compassion with property owners and project payees when dealing with their loss.
• Maintains accurate logging of all relevant communication pertaining to each job file and ensures compliance with all third-party provider performance standards.
• Demonstrates the ability to be detail oriented and the ability to manage a large amount of information with multiple, time sensitive tasks.
• Demonstrates proficiencies in the knowledge of general construction and property damage restoration means and methods.
• Takes instruction from assigned manager and communicates with them on a regular basis.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Xactimate, PSA, Encircle, Luxor CRM and Microsoft Outlook.

• College Degree – 2 or 4 year
• 2-4 years' experience in construction estimating or related field experience
