Fifth Color is looking for a driven, hands‑on Print Specialist who brings together digital print production support, strong attention to detail, and the ability to assist with on‑site signage installations nationwide. Whether you already have hands‑on experience or foundational knowledge of print and design, we’re looking for someone eager to grow and we’re committed to providing the training to take your skills to the next level.

This role is ideal for someone who is as comfortable preparing production‑ready artwork in Adobe Illustrator or Flexi as they are operating Mutoh printers, finishing graphics, and supporting installation teams in the field. The right candidate enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced event environment, and is prepared for travel, long workdays, and hands‑on production and installation work when needed.

Graphic Design & Digital Print Production:

• Create, edit, and prepare vector artwork using Adobe Illustrator or Flexi.
• Convert customer‑supplied files into clean, production‑ready formats.
• Set up layouts for large‑format signs, banners, decals, and event graphics.
• Operate Mutoh printers and related production equipment.
• Monitor color accuracy, alignment, and output quality to meet brand and event standards.
• Assist with finishing processes including trimming, mounting, masking, packaging, and prepping materials for transport.
• Troubleshoot minor print and equipment issues and elevate when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused production workspace.
• Collaborate closely with the production and project management teams to meet tight deadlines.

Event Installation & Field Support:

• Travel nationwide to support signage installation at major events and activations.
• Assist with installation of banners, large format graphics, sponsor signage, fencing graphics, flags, and related event materials.
• Work safely on ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces when required.
• Follow site plans, production lists, and installation instructions with precision.
• Support troubleshooting and on‑site adjustments to ensure clean, professional results.
• Assist with post‑event removal, dismantling, storage, and equipment maintenance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Flexi is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and file accuracy.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working long hours, including consecutive 10+ hour days during event season.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively nationwide.
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or lifts.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

• Experience in a sign shop, print shop, or large‑format production environment.
• Familiarity with Mutoh printers and large‑format digital printing processes.
• Experience supporting event signage installation or live event production.
• Basic construction, carpentry, or hands‑on installation experience.
• Understanding of color management and print production workflows.
