Limited, as required - Salary Range: $76,050 - $105,200
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring new or transfer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Lead electrical design and integration of generator systems, including:
- Genset controls, ATS systems, and harnessing
- Custom enclosure systems (skin‑tight and walk‑in)
- Auxiliary electrical components and equipment
- Develop detailed engineering packages including schematics, layouts, component selection, and specifications
- Design solutions with a strong focus on manufacturability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Coordinate and integrate third‑party electrical systems through design, build, and commissioning
- Manage and prioritize multiple custom engineering projects to meet delivery timelines
- Provide technical direction and support across cross‑functional teams
- Estimate engineering effort, timelines, and product costs for custom solutions
- Identify risks, evaluate trade‑offs, and apply sound engineering and business judgment
- Partner with:
- Sales, Applications, and National Account teams during quoting
- Mechanical engineering and design teams for integrated solutions
- Procurement to ensure timely sourcing of materials
- Manufacturing teams to resolve design issues during production
- Support field service teams with troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issues
- Drive process improvements to enhance engineering efficiency and product quality
- Identify opportunities to streamline custom order workflows
- Support system upgrades and innovation initiatives
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET‑accredited program
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering (internships included), preferably in:
- Power systems
- Industrial or product development environments
- Experience supporting or managing electrical design projects
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
