We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Electrical Project Engineer
Sustaining Product Development (SPD) to support the design, development, validation, and implementation of advanced electrical and electronic systems for Rehlko industrial generator platforms. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in analog and digital circuitry, microprocessor-based controls, and electrical system troubleshooting who thrives in a collaborative engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in validating system performance, resolving complex electrical and software-related issues, supporting cross-functional product development efforts, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead or support implementation of electrical components or electronic systems on Rehlko generator platforms, including validation, testing, and postproduction support.
• Develop and execute test specifications and test procedures to validate or verify component or system function.
• Work with cross functional teams to implement electrical and controls systems.
• Troubleshoot failures and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Make recommendations for product improvements.
• Develop and implement special electronics systems as needed for testing.

• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Participate in design reviews and design FMEAs.
• Assist with vendor investigation of root cause analysis for failed components.
• Contribute to lessons learned methodology and continuous process improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and design direction to CAD Analysts.
• Demonstrate teamwork and communicate effectively.
• Develop documents and achieve product specifications for customers, regulatory, and technical requirements.
• Deliver project work on time, cost, and quality.
• Develop individual goals/objectives to support departmental goals.
• Personally demonstrate and drive the Rehlko Core Competencies.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) required.
• 2+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, electronic systems and/or New Product Development (NPD) or Sustaining Product Development (SPD).
• General knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, PSPICE, Simulink, OrCAD, C, C++, Python is a plus.
