Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Engineering Technician based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The Civil Engineering Technician will provide field and laboratory observation and testing services (soils and concrete), land surveying support, soils and concrete technical reporting, and field scheduling and coordination. The role will also include ensuring compliance with project specifications and working collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and construction teams.
Our projects are all within daily driving distance, so no overnight travel is required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering Technology or related field required
- Hands‑on experience in construction materials testing or related fieldwork is a strongly preferred
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of outdoor environments/conditions
- Experience in Land Surveying and familiarity with surveying equipment
- Excellent Communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in plans and specifications
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid field/office environment
