Position Overview

The Staff Engineer - Diesel Engine Platform (Power Systems) provides technical direction and project leadership for the development of generator sets for industrial and mobile applications at Rehlko.

• Provide technical direction and project leadership on the development of generator sets for industrial and mobile applications.
• Apply and deepen technical knowledge in thermodynamics, engine operation, static and dynamic stress analysis, and electrical theory.
• Coordinate and guide CAD Design Analysts, Engineering Analysts, and Lab Technicians.
• Select materials and components that deliver high quality, high performance, and cost‑effective generators.
• Research new technologies and apply proven technology to designs.
• Assist in establishing product strategy and requirements with Marketing and Product Managers.
• Write functional specifications and set design targets based on those requirements.
• Create project timelines, budgets, and preliminary spending estimates.
• Present project updates and collaborate with Product Management.
