Position SummaryThe BSA Officer will be responsible for establishing and monitoring internal controls for bank‑wide compliance and works with auditors to meet requirements. This includes reviewing and researching customer transactions to identify and report suspicious activity, ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, and other applicable laws and regulations.

- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal, and organization skills.
- Strong decision‑making, analytical, and investigative skills, with attention to detail.
- Interact effectively with all levels of management, law enforcement, regulators, and auditors while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Detailed knowledge of banking laws relative to BSA/AML/OFAC and exposure to broad banking regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of BSA/AML experience is required; prior people‑management experience is preferred.
- BSA & Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) Certification is preferred.
