Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care ICU
Sheboygan, WI 53081

• 101-bed hospital
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Primary Stroke Center
• Collaborative team environment with strong clinical support

• Unit: Critical Care ICU (11 beds)
• Acuity: Lower acuity ICU
• Patient Population: General ICU, Stroke, COVID, Medical, Surgical, Behavioral Health, Overdoses
• Patient Ratio: 1:2–3 (days & nights, acuity-based)
• Charting Systems: EPIC | Alaris | Pyxis

• Experience: 3+ years of ICU experience
• First-Time Travelers: Considered upon review
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Ventilator management
• Chest tubes & tracheostomy care
• Line management
• Proning experience
• Bedside and nursing station telemetry monitoring (no tele tech available)

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care
• Monitor and assess patients, responding quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Safely administer medications and treatments
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Support patient and family education
• Float to Cardiac and Stepdown units as needed

• CNA support (1:7 ratio)
• Charge nurse takes patient assignments
• 24/7 Respiratory Therapy & Hospitalist coverage
• ICU Educator available
• OT, PT, and Speech Therapy on weekdays
• Phlebotomy available for peripheral draws

• Weekend rotation:
  Every other weekend
• Orientation:
  One shift to learn unit flow
• Time-off requests:
  Up to 7 days
• On-call & holiday expectations:
  Based on unit needs

• Floating: Required to Cardiac and Stepdown units
• Scrub Color: Any professional color
• Parking: Free in designated employee areas
• PPE: Conventional PPE provided
