In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for end users, helping troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage support tickets, set up equipment and user accounts, and provide technical assistance across our clinic locations. The ideal candidate is a patient, solutions-oriented problem solver who enjoys helping people and can effectively balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What

You’ll Do

Help Desk Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests received through the help desk, telephone, email, and other support channels.
  • Triage, prioritize, document, and resolve technical support tickets.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate technical notes and escalated issues to the appropriate IT resources when needed.
  • Provide remote and phone support to employees working at satellite locations.
  • Provide on-site, hands-on technical support at clinic locations as needed.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot and provide support for computers, phones, mobile devices, printers, scanners, copiers, webcams, audiovisual equipment, dental sensors, and other IT peripherals.
  • Install, configure, image, maintain, and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and other technology equipment.
  • Support OCHIN workstations and printers.
  • Assist with workstation, equipment, and office moves.
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems and identify effective solutions.

User Accounts & Onboarding

  • Create and manage user accounts for new hires, including access related to email, phones, EPIC, Dentrix, and other systems.
  • Assist with account changes and terminations.
  • Support new employee onboarding and provide hands‑on technology assistance during orientation and training.
  • Help employees become comfortable and productive with the technology they use in their daily work.

IT Assets & Inventory

  • Assist with IT asset management and equipment inventory.
  • Help with shipping, receiving, equipment deployment, and ordering IT supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining IT knowledge base articles and resources.
  • Participate in cross‑training and knowledge‑sharing to expand technical expertise and reduce unnecessary escalations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT support processes and help implement solutions.
What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience supporting HP/Windows environments, troubleshooting hardware and software, and performing software maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 or similar software.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Equivalent education and relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Experience providing IT support in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with EPIC, Dentrix, or other healthcare information systems.
  • A hands‑on, customer‑focused approach to providing technical support.
  • Understanding of business processes and how technology supports day‑to‑day operations.

  • Enjoys helping people solve technology problems.
