Utility Route Driver; Relief Driver

We are hiring immediately for a full time Utility Route Driver (Relief Driver) position.

Location:

Canteen - 2335 Union Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081.

Schedule:

Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, hours may vary; start time between 1:00 am to 5:00 am. More details upon interview.

Requirement:
Previous route driving experience is preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate: $23.80 per hour

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Drives company-owned truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services, collects money from machines, and performs the following duties.

• Service a particular route or location during the absence of the regular route or warehouse employee.
• May assist Customer Service Managers with daily opening and closing of the operation, and training of new route service personnel.
• Drive truck to deliver such items as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items and sundries to customer's place of business.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines. Collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise. Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin changers.
• Record transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device; be accountable for cash and product.
• Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; inform regular customers of new products and/or services; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Select items from warehouse and load truck; prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
• Perform routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
