I am partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking a Buyer
- Global Product Support (GPS) to support aftermarket parts, supplier management, inventory strategies, and customer support operations.
This role will serve as a key link between procurement, operations, and customer-facing teams to ensure replacement parts and value-added products are available when needed. The position offers a blend of sourcing, supplier management, inventory planning, and supply chain execution responsibilities.

- Global Product Support (GPS) to support aftermarket parts, supplier management, inventory strategies, and customer support operations.
This role will serve as a key link between procurement, operations, and customer-facing teams to ensure replacement parts and value-added products are available when needed. The position offers a blend of sourcing, supplier management, inventory planning, and supply chain execution responsibilities.
- Develop sourcing strategies for aftermarket parts and value-added products
- Manage supplier relationships, pricing, lead times, and delivery performance
- Issue RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations
- Drive lead time reductions and cost improvement initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels and implement stocking strategies to support customer demand
- Utilize MRP and forecasting tools to support replenishment and purchasing activities
- Expedite critical orders and proactively resolve supply issues
- Partner with operations, customer support, and supply chain teams to ensure service level objectives are achieved
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers to improve flexibility and supply continuity
- Support supplier negotiations, cost reduction efforts, and low-cost sourcing initiatives
- Monitor market trends and provide recommendations regarding pricing and supply risks
- 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory management, supply chain, or planning experience
- Manufacturing, aftermarket, service parts, or industrial distribution experience preferred
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
- Background in inventory planning, replenishment, forecasting, or demand management is highly desirable
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, customer service, engineering, and supply chain teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
