Procurement Buyer

Our client is seeking a Senior Buyer to support procurement for a multi-site manufacturing environment. This role will manage sourcing and purchasing for indirect materials, MRO, capital equipment, tools, packaging, services, and related categories.

• Manage assigned purchasing categories and sourcing initiatives.
• Source MRO parts, equipment, tools, packaging, services, and supplies.
• Prepare and review RFPs, proposals, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and supplier agreements.
• Develop new suppliers based on quality, delivery, pricing, and capabilities.
• Analyze costs, market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities.
• Evaluate supply risks and develop alternative sourcing options.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers across multiple locations.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with policies and contracts.
• Occasional travel up to 25%.

• Bachelor's degree required;
  Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or category management experience.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management experience.
• Strong cost analysis and market knowledge.
• Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.
• SAP experience highly desirable.
• Experience with international suppliers preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Results‑oriented, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
