Role Description

The Mitigation Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sheboygan, WI, responsible for overseeing mitigation projects from initiation through completion. This role coordinates expediting activities, manages project schedules and budgets, and ensures materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time to support field operations. The Mitigation Project Manager conducts inspections to verify quality standards, compliance requirements, and safety protocols, and addresses issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, managing logistics related to job sites, and maintaining clear documentation and reporting on project progress. The role also involves communicating with clients, setting expectations, and providing updates to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to agreed-upon standards.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong expeditor and expediting skills to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.
  • Inspection experience with a focus on quality control, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
  • Logistics management capabilities, including coordinating vendors, transportation, inventory, and on-site resource allocation.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, and solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in mitigation, construction, restoration, or related fields is highly beneficial.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
