Machine Operator

Job Summary

Encadria is partnering with Georgia-Pacific to hire Machine Operators in Sheboygan, WI in a direct‑hire role. Pay ranges from $22.50 to $25.00 per hour, with a $3 hourly shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift. Overtime and weekend work is expected. The position may involve any shift; flexibility and availability across all shifts, overtime, and weekends are required.

• Operate production line with minimal supervision while maintaining facility standards in productivity, waste, and quality.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments, troubleshoot equipment, and optimally run machinery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards.
• Promote safety excellence through employee involvement, ownership, and accountability.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with team members and supervisors.
• Enter data into computer control systems and monitor production metrics.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance, asset care, and cleaning of work area.
• Prepare orders and materials for production, ensuring all components are ready.
• Assist in setup, operation, and monitoring of machinery, following procedures and guidelines.
• Provide training, direction, and support to team members.
• Understand key metrics and production goals.

• Experience in manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment, or post‑high‑school education in manufacturing/industrial.
• Previous experience operating production machinery.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills (computer, tablet, or smart device). (Optional but a plus)
• Experience in corrugated packaging industry. (Optional but a plus)
• Prior leadership experience in manufacturing, military, or industrial environment. (Optional but a plus)
