Overview
Georgia‑Pacific is looking for motivated Machine Operators with a passion for safety to join our team in Sheboygan, WI.
Pay & Hours- Pay: $22.50–$25.00 per hour
- Shift differential: $3/hour while working on 2nd or 3rd shift
- Hours: 1st shift: 6 am–2 pm; 2nd shift: 2 pm–10 pm; 3rd shift: 10 pm–6 am (Sunday start)
- Shift flexibility: Must be available to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities- Operate the production line with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity, waste, and quality standards
- Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed
- Consistently look for improvements and efficiencies to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards
- Promote employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to drive safety excellence
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with team members
- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
- Enter data into computer control systems as required
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
- Collaborate with machine operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Prep orders by ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use in the production process
- Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of machinery per established procedures
- Provide training, direction, and support to team members
- Understand key metrics and production goals
- Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment, or completion of post‑high school education in manufacturing/industrial disciplines
- Previous experience operating production machinery
- Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
- Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry
- Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, military, or industrial environment
