Material Specialist
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Material Specialist at a company in Sheboygan, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift.
5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday, Possible Overtime on Fridays)
$21.00/hour
Material Specialist Responsibilities:- Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Transporting materials, components, and products throughout the facility, production, or designated work areas to support production needs
- Utilizing ERP systems and handheld scanners for material movements and ensuring transactions are properly recorded
- Delivering raw materials and finished goods to internal and external customers in a timely manner
- Packaging products according to specific customer and shipping requirements
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Collaborating with team across departments to ensure smooth operations
- Adhering to all procedures, safety standards, and company policies
- Assisting in production as needed
Requirements for Material Specialist:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous sit-down forklift experience and RF scanner experience required
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to walk/stand for 8-10 hours
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift/move 40-50 pounds regularly
