Machine Operator - Arch Wires Operator - 1st Shift

Manufacture arch wires from raw material into finished goods.

• Run a machine to wrap wire onto a mandrel, place the mandrel of material into a salt bath, then cut and deburr material.
• Use a computer to laser mark  onto the wires.
• Inspect wires for size, shape, and any defects.
• Scale material and issue material to work order using a scanner.
• Take measurements of wire using a micrometer or caliper.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, math and computer skills.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and toolmakers microscope.
• 2 years of experience in direct manufacturing.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time.
