Truss Component Assemblers, Banders, Blade Operators, and Fork Lift​/Yard - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift

Richco Structures, in Sheboygan, WI, is seeking motivated candidates for their Truss Plant. What does the job entail?

Assemblers:

• Move precut lumber to work area by cart.
• Lift and lay precut lumber onto building tables
• Follow blueprint specifications to make a completed truss
• Set jig plates on table
• Hammer connector plates
• Run truss through stacking machine
• Label and band trusses
• Utilize hammers, saws pneumatic nail and staple guns to connect parts.

Banders:

• Ensure completed trusses are free of damage
• Inspect nail plates for proper placement
• Place metal strip bands around group of trusses and utilize banding tools
• Transfer off conveyor and position for pickup
• Outside position

Blade Operators:

• Operate computer automated saw and/or setup and operate manual saw to cut lumber in accordance with order
• Assures proper lumber grade, size, quantity, and quality
• Inspects cut lumber for proper length, angle and grade per cutting list; makes minor adjustments to meet specifications.

Forklift Operator/Yard:

• Unloads finished trusses from stackers and wagons, and positions trusses to be banded and stacked together and straps orders onto the delivery vehicles.
• Outside position

Requirement:

• Previous experience is helpful - but not required. We Train!
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per work shift. Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Team player with excellent attendance record

We provide an outstanding benefit package which is effective the 1st of the month following hire date. Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and Bonus program eligible. $1.50 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd Shift positions.
