Job Summary:
Set-up surface grinders to machine sapphire brackets.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Runsurface grinders and CNC production machines
- Inspect parts to make sure they are within specification
- Read and understand a drawing and machine parts to specification
- Use of micrometer and optical comparator for inspection
- Makemachine adjustments based on measurements
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Machining background a plus
- Experience with micrometers a plus
- 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing
- Must be able to standfor up to 8 to 10 hours per day
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time
