Acuity is seeking a Senior Communication Specialist to apply communication expertise to promote Acuity’s brand image, accurately reflecting company culture, products, and services. The Senior Specialist will collaborate across teams to understand business objectives and desired outcomes to develop effective communications for target audiences. This includes create advertising, promotional, and educational content in visual, audio, and video formats.
This role will serve as a knowledge resource for the team to help drive continuous improvement of communication campaigns. The Specialist must routinely display leadership qualities through positive influence and teamwork. They will also mentor and coach specialists with less experience, including giving meaningful, professional feedback.

- Routinely performs all essential functions of a Communication Specialist and provides mentorship and leadership within the Communications team.
- Develop high-quality, target communication content and fresh story ideas.
- Design advertisements, newsletters, and other communications, utilizing various mediums.
- Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
- Lead and manage multiple projects at once.
- Willingness and ability to handle a wide variety of assignments with increasing complexity and responsibility.
- Proven ability to adapt to change through utilization of new concepts and technologies.
- Assist in the creation of strategic communication plans to meet future needs and expectations for Acuity.
- Manage budget costs, on a routine basis.
- Collaborate with others to support project-related communication endeavors.
- Highly regular, predictable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or communications preferred.
EXPERIENCE:Accomplishments within the communications or public relations arena, involving creative design and targeted content applied across various media formats and channels.

- Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Audition, and/or After Effects
