  3 years experience. Cervical exams, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV starts/management, Pitocin, baby catching/receiving, APGAR, basic breastfeeding education. Need to be comfortable with all aspects of post-Partum care from transition to discharge for mom and baby.
• Circulate C-section cases, level 2 L&D care, post partum, vaginal checks
• RN staffing ratios: 1:1 Laboring, 1:2 Active Labor, 1:3 Couplets
• Patient Types:
  32 weeks and above
• Majority of patients are lower risk
• Conditions commonly managed: hypertension, magnesium administration, medication management for substance abuse, epidurals, elevated BMI, diabetes
• Post-delivery care continues in the same room
• Post-women’s surgeries (preferred experience)
• Floating:
  None

• 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Strong proficiency in fetal monitoring, epidurals, postpartum care
• Ability to manage post-delivery care and transition to discharge
