Cardiology, RN Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist
Experienced Registered Nurse
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for adult cardiology patients.
Triage patient phone calls, evaluate symptoms, and coordinate appropriate interventions.
Provide patient education on cardiac conditions, medications, procedures, and lifestyle modifications.
Manage provider in-baskets, review abnormal lab results, and communicate follow-up recommendations.
Enter physician orders, obtain prior authorizations, and coordinate outpatient testing and procedures.
Assist with rooming patients, obtaining EKGs, and placing Holter/event monitors as needed.
Support stress testing, including occasional IV Dobutamine administration when required.
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately in Epic EMR.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic environment, seeing patients every 15 minutes.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum 3 years of RN experience either in a clinic setting, ICU/CVICU, Cath Lab, or Cardiac Stepdown.
First-time travelers are welcome with the ability to adapt from acute care to an outpatient clinic setting.
Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Strong cardiac assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment.
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule with a rotating half-day off each week.

Work alongside an experienced team of 5 Cardiologists, 1 Electrophysiologist, and 4 NP/PAs.
Gain valuable outpatient cardiology experience caring for patients with heart failure, post-CABG, valve replacement, electrophysiology, vascular, and other complex cardiac conditions.
Up to two weeks of orientation tailored to your experience and comfort level.
Utilize advanced cardiac technology, including Epic EMR, EKG machines, Zio and Bardy monitors, in a collaborative, supportive environment.
