Duties & Responsibilities

  • Investigate and review returned products, current inventory, and WIP for non-conformances based on complaint
  • Returns product with investigated data to Quality Analysis – Customer
  • Inspects manufactured products to specifications in the engineering lab
  • Fill in and assist other quality control functions as needed
  • Updates D365
  • Quarantines product in D365 and physically places product in a quarantine location
  • Manage non-conformance processes, files, and database
  • Manage proper segregation and quarantine inventory in a timely manner
  • Utilize business software to aid non-conformance investigation
  • Investigate and document non-conformances
  • Update or create procedures as needed
  • Lead and assist with supplier and internal corrective actions
  • Ensure quality processes are completed per procedure
  • Generate and communicate quality reports
  • Document decisions from daily quality meetings, including disposition and investigative tasks
  • Assist and train quality and manufacturing staff when needed
  • Assist compliance to procedures and train associates
  • Lead or participate in quality audits and audit floor processes for conformance
  • Assist with rework as needed
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and ideas to enhance processes
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated aptitudes toward thoroughness and attention to details
  • Strong internal and external structure
  • Proficient knowledge of measuring equipment such as microscopes or comparators preferred
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Able to perform and prioritize many tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient computer, math, and reading skills
  • Proficient in MS Office:
    Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • Good written and verbal communications skills including good technical writing skills
