  • Investigate and review returned products, current inventory, and work-in-process (WIP) materials for nonconformances based on Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and engineering specifications.
  • Present investigation findings and recommendations during Material Review Board (MRB) meetings for disposition decisions.
  • Document, track, and maintain nonconformance investigations, corrective actions, and related records.
  • Maintain and update records in the business and quality management software.
  • Utilize business and quality management software tools to support investigations and analysis.
  • Quarantine nonconforming products within business systems and ensure physical segregation in designated quarantine inventory areas in a timely manner.
  • Inspect products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Submit changes to quality procedures and work instructions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with quality processes and procedures.
  • Document quality meeting decisions, dispositions, and action items in business and quality systems.
  • Provide training and support to Quality and Manufacturing personnel as needed.
  • Lead or participate in internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory quality audits as assigned.
  • Assist with product rework and containment activities as required.
  • Work with Engineering to determine the disposition of nonconforming products.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience using inspection and measurement equipment, such as microscopes and comparators, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient computer, math, and reading comprehension skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and documentation.
