Experienced Diesel Technician
Melakam Industrial LLC is hiring an Experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy duty commercial trucks and diesel engines. This full time, first shift position is ideal for a skilled diesel mechanic with strong diagnostic abilities who enjoys working in a professional, team focused environment with excellent work life balance.

Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy duty commercial trucks
- Perform preventive maintenance and complete repairs according to manufacturer and company standards
- Troubleshoot electrical, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, and driveline systems
- Repair or replace major engine and drivetrain components including injectors, pistons, cylinder heads, camshafts, clutches, differentials, transmissions, bearings, and related parts
- Inspect vehicles and recommend additional repairs when necessary
- Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately
- Conduct road tests when required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
- Support team productivity while maintaining high quality workmanship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or technical training in diesel technology preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience repairing diesel engines and heavy duty trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, air and hydraulic brakes, steering, suspension, driveline, and transmissions
- Ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment
- Must provide your own professional tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver License if required
- ASE Certification
- EPA 608 or EPA 609 Certification
- OEM manufacturer training
- Experience diagnosing and repairing major engine, transmission, and differential components
- Experience with International Trucks or other commercial truck manufacturers
- Experience working with Cummins engines
- Monday through Friday schedule
- No weekends or night shifts
