Driver to provide transportation services for adult clients with disabilities. Drive vans in a general geographical area and will be responsible to transport adults with disabilities to and from programs and appointments.

WI standard Class D (auto) drivers license in good standing required.

What will I be doing as a Driver at HIL?

Provide reliable transportation for clients to their destination including but not limited to community events, leisure activities, day programs, household errands and medical appointments

Operate vehicle in a safe manner, abide by all State of Wisconsin traffic laws Assist clients with getting into and out of vehicle

Utilize mobile technology to interact with dispatching staff

Maintain vehicle and client documentation per company standards

Maintain the exterior/interior of the vehicle

Adhere to policies and procedures regarding vehicle use and transportation.

What will I get?

Up to $17.00 hourly

What is the schedule?

Full time, day shift hours with some 2nd shift and every other weekend

Holiday rotation

What are the Qualifications?

A High School Diploma, GED/HSED, or equivalent work experience

Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with 3 years clean driving record

Demonstrates skill and/or potential in working with individuals with special needs in a supportive environment

Exercising courtesy and maintaining individual dignity

Exercises good personal judgment, critical thinking skills and punctuality

Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality and strong communication skills.
