Concrete Finisher

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finishing concrete surfaces for both residential and commercial projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for creating smooth, durable, and visually appealing surfaces according to project specifications.

• Prepare the work area by cleaning, setting up forms, and ensuring proper drainage.
• Assist in placing and securing concrete forms, ensuring they are properly aligned.
• Finish surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
• Smooth and level freshly poured concrete to the specified depth and contour.
• Apply coloring and staining agents to enhance the appearance of the concrete if required.
• Create decorative patterns and textures using various finishing techniques.
• Monitor and control the curing process to ensure proper hardening of the concrete.
• Apply sealants and curing compounds to protect the finished surfaces.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Repair and patch imperfections or cracks in the concrete as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment.

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher in residential and commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Certification in concrete finishing or a related field.
• Knowledge of decorative concrete techniques.
• Familiarity with different types of concrete and their applications.
