Painter & Decorator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator on behalf of our client in Sheerness, Kent. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a reputable private painting and decorating company, delivering high-quality finishes across a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of painting and decorating, including applying gloss and emulsion finishes, surface preparation, and ensuring attention to detail.

You will be expected to uphold the company's standards of craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism while working efficiently and independently on site. This position requires a proactive approach, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent results to every project undertaken.

Valid CSCS card is essential

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification is desirable

Proven experience in all aspects of painting and decorating

Own comprehensive painting toolkit (brushes, rollers, scuttles, extensions, scrapers, whites/overalls)

Ability to prepare surfaces and carry out detailed finishing work

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
