Operations Management, General Management
As Branch General Manager, you are the CEO of your branch — the local leader who owns the P&L, builds the team, and decides what winning looks like in your market. You'll have the autonomy to run hard, the backing of a shared services platform built for $150MM in revenue, and a clear runway to grow something that's actually yours to lead.
If you've been waiting for a role where the results are visible, the impact is direct, and the ceiling is what you make it — keep reading.
What You'll OwnThe P&L: Revenue, margin, growth is yours. You'll set the local plan, defend the budget, and answer for the number. We don't hide behind shared overhead, and neither will you.
The Customer Base: You'll drive growth across design-build, maintenance, enhancements, and snow — expanding accounts, winning new ones, and making sure every client gets a reason to stay. Your sales team, your estimating quality, your retention numbers.
The Operation: Jobs delivered on time, on budget, and to a standard you're proud to put your name on. You'll lead crew deployment, equipment utilization, quality, and safety — walking jobs, asking hard questions, and closing the gaps before they cost you.
The Team: Sales, ops, admin, and field — all reporting to you. You'll recruit, develop, coach, and hold the bar. The crew leaders and foremen who grow into the next generation of leaders? That's your scoreboard too.
The Culture: Safety-first, results-driven, no excuses. You set the tone. People follow leaders who are clear about where they're going and why it matters.
What Success Looks Like in Year One:- You know your numbers cold — and they're moving in the right direction.
- Your team is stronger than the one you inherited, with a real bench underneath.
- Customers are calling you back, not the other way around.
- Safety, quality, and job-cost discipline are non-negotiables on your branch.
- You're seen as a partner — not a passenger — at the regional leadership table.
You've run something before. You've carried a P&L, missed a number, learned from it, and hit the next one. You know what it takes to lead a field-based business — the early mornings, the weather days, the people problems, the wins that come from a team that actually trusts each other.
You likely bring- 7–10+ years in landscaping, construction, or field-based branch operations, with at least 3 years leading a team
- A real track record of P&L ownership, team building, and customer growth
- Working command of job costing, scheduling, estimating, and crew management
- Comfort with business systems (Aspire or similar ERP, Microsoft 365, CRM tools)
- Strong communication skills — with crews in the yard and executives in the boardroom
- A bachelor's degree is a plus, but field and management experience carry equal weight
- Competitive — you want to win, and you want the scoreboard visible
- Direct — you'd rather have the hard conversation than the polite one
- Builder-minded — you see what a branch could be, not just what it is today
- Ownership-driven — when something breaks, you don't look around for who's going to fix it
We’re building something. The platform behind you is built for $150MM in revenue — the systems, the shared services, the M&A engine, the leadership investment. Your branch is a building block in that growth, and the General Managers who deliver here will be the ones shaping what this company looks like in five years.
If you want to run your own show, with real backing and real upside — this is the seat!
