Clark Wood are recruiting for one of the region's most respected independent accountancy firms for their Sheffield office.

The firm is looking to bring on board a talented ACA / ACCA qualified accounts & auditor to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience including undertaking and leading audit assignments on a variety of clients, relevant accounts preparation work and necessary tax returns.
This Sheffield role offers a rare balance of interesting general practice work, business advisory projects, accounts preparation, tax & auditing work. It would put you in good stead for future professional development and you would gain exposure to a diverse client base including SMEs, OMBs and some international groups.
Duties & Responsibilities- Act as an advisor to owner‑managed businesses on a range of accounts and business advisory.
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to conclusion for significant audit engagements, supervising staff and managing client relationships.
- Prepare tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
- Prepare accounts of companies, groups of companies, partnerships and LLPs together with tax computations.
- ACA / ACCA qualification or comparable.
- Experience of undertaking and leading audit assignments on a variety of clients.
- Experience with accounts preparation work and tax returns.
