MATHEMATICS TEACHER (Secondary) - Possible VACANCY NOTICE & JOB DESCRIPTION
CATEGORY: Certified
CONTRACT PERIOD: 9.5 month/187 (or 189 days for TEAMS Assignment*) days for the School Year
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must hold an appropriate teacher certification in mathematics grades 7-12 and meet the applicable Alabama state certification and licensure requirements; be able to motivate young people to want to learn; be willing to be involved in total school program; and be technology literate. Prefer an emphasis on computer science.

Salary will be paid based on the approved state minimum salary schedule - classroom teachers as approved by the Board

POSITION TITLE: Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree, or higher from an accredited institution. A valid Alabama State Professional Educators Certificate for grade level and assigned subject area. Must meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Highly Qualified (HQ) requirements. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
