Connex Education Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish while fostering an appreciation for Spanish language and culture.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well‑planned lessons across the relevant Key Stages, creating an inclusive learning environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

• Deliver high‑quality Spanish lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and a love of learning.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider life of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
• Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings, and school events as required.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and support the wellbeing of all students.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Spanish within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
• Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
• Be committed to raising student attainment and engagement.
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Connex Education.
