Engineer - Plant

Job Title:

Plant Engineer (fixed term 12 months)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00 (42 hours per week)

Bent on delivering reliable and safe plant hire equipment, you will take overall responsibility for inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of plant hire assets in the region. You will work directly with other engineers in the depot and liaise regularly with drivers and the hire desk team to ensure repairs and maintenance of plant equipment is prioritised effectively.

• Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to the highest standard, ideally gained within the hire industry or a similar sector
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Technical/engineering background is desirable
