We are currently recruiting for a permanent Room Leader position within a welcoming and well-established nursery in Chelmsford. As a Room Leader
, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of practitioners within your designated room
• Ensure the highest standards of care, learning and development are delivered
• Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Monitor, assess and record children’s progress
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Support the nursery management team with day-to-day room operations

To be considered for this Room Leader position, you must have:

• A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
• Previous experience working as a Room Leader or significant experience as a Senior Practitioner ready to step up
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
  
  A passion for providing outstanding childcare
• A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team
