L2​/Nursery Practitioner

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd is Hiring for a Village Nursery in Northamptonshire

We're recruiting for a welcoming, high-quality nursery located in a village near Northampton.
Own transport essential due to limited public transport.

Contract: Permanent Full-Time
Salary: Up to £14/hour (negotiable)

• Lead and supervise room staff daily
• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities
• Act as Key Person for a group of children
• Observe, assess, and track children's progress
• Maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment
• Support opening/closing procedures
• Liaise with SENCO, parents, and external agencies
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and nursery policies
• Attend meetings, training, and nursery events

• Level 3+ Early Years qualification (essential)
• Leadership and communication skills
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
• Supervisory/senior practitioner experience (desirable)
• Professional, confident approach
• Own vehicle required

Contract: Permanent All Year Round
Hours:

• Full-time: 4 days/week, 8am 6pm
• Part-time: 3 days/week, 8am 6pm
  Salary: National Minimum Wage (based on experience)

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
• Support children aged 0 5 with learning and development
• Create a safe, nurturing environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous nursery experience preferred
• Caring, reliable, professional approach
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
• Own vehicle required
• Commitment to year-round hours
