Contract: Ad Hoc

Hours: Full-time, 8am-5pm

What you will do:
  • Deliver high‑quality care and educational activities in line with EYFS and Ofsted standards.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes child‑led learning.
  • Serve as a key person for assigned children, conducting observations and maintaining developmental records.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to support children's development.
  • Uphold safeguarding practices and report any concerns in a timely manner.
  • Guide and support childcare assistants, students, and bank staff when necessary.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for the nursery, ensuring all is up‑to‑date.
  • Help with daily routines including hygiene, meals, housekeeping, and health and safety tasks.
Training & Development:
  • Engage in mandatory training, safeguarding supervision, and professional development activities.
  • Attend staff meetings, supervisions, and participate in parent evenings as required.
  • Be open to working flexibly across nursery sites if needed.
