Nursery Manager

Required for a large privately owned Nursery in Sheffield approx 2.5 miles from the city centre. This is a large busy nursery with a potential of up to 100 children (currently only 59% occupancy).

This is a busy, fun and energetic Nursery, full of personality. It's looking for its next leader who can match its drive and enthusiasm!

Salary £40,000

Plus Annual performance bonus (up to £45,000)

Hours - 40 hours a week - 07:30-18:00

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
• Paediatric First Aid (full)
• Previous experience as nursery manager
• Experience leading and motivating a team, with excellent proactive team engagement and involvement
• Previous experience managing income and expenditure budget

• A Nursery Manager with previous experience and a hands on , can do attitude
• A driven and nurturing personality who wants the best for the children and team
• Strong knowledge of Early Years
• Appropriate qualification is essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to write and maintain clear records
• Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance
• Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
