Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or hotel environments, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Duties- Work closely with the Head Housekeeper to ensure all rooms are cleaned to required standard and complete room checks after housekeepers have finished.
- Complete all housekeeping administration and ordering in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
- Compile weekly and monthly rotas in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
- Perform cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and follow the cleaning schedule.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain an appealing environment.
- Cover the Head Housekeeper when off, opening the shift and completing all task sheets for the housekeeping team.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition, ensuring they are stocked as needed.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of guests and staff.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting and bending throughout the shift.
Extensive experience of hotel housekeeping operations and supervision.
